First, you give your clients something tangible.  Everyone likes a gift.  Second, it is an excuse to make another point of contact.  To retain clients, it is important to keep your name in front of them.  The more often they see your name, the more they will like you.  The more someone likes you, the better chance there is that they will do business with you.  Finally, these products can be branded with your information, so as your clients are using them, they are seeing your name.

Recently, Craigslist made a change in posting requirements.  Now, if you are interested in advertising on Craigslist in the “services” category, you must sign up with a Craigslist account and verify a phone number.  This is an extra step, but well worth it, and it only takes a few minutes.  I suggest signing up for an account today if you have not already.  If you want to use the free Craigslist advertising, it is very likely you will want to be posting your ads in the “services” category.
